Why changing your KiwiSaver fund could change your future

3 min read

If you’ve recently started a new job and have been enrolled into KiwiSaver by your employer, you'll be provisionally allocated to your employer's chosen scheme or to a default scheme. Chances are you've been put into their conservative (lower risk) fund. These are really designed to be temporary funds until you make an active investment choice, so a conservative fund may not be the right one for you. The difference in your final retirement savings could vary dramatically, depending on whether you’re in a conservative fund or a growth fund.

Choosing the right fund is one of the most important aspects of investing. Answer our three basic questions below to discover what kind of investor you are, and which of our BNZ KiwiSaver Scheme funds may best suit you. Once you've answered the questions, click through to get all the details about the fund, and switching to the right one takes less than 2 minutes!
